This session will show newer narrators the importance of properly breaking down the manuscript so they can act what's on the page instead of what's in their head.

• Attendees will learn the role acting plays in audiobook narration.
• Attendees will learn how to look at a manuscript for clues to the author's intent.
• Attendees will learn what steps to take to make the story "their own" so they can narrate the story with authenticity.
