JANE SANTOS, born and raised in the Dominican Republic, the multitalented actress has been seen on screen working as an actress and television presenter. She received a ''Casandra'' nomination for BEST ACTRESS for her starring role in the film “Santiclo”. Jane has since moved to Hollywood to further her acting career. She studied acting for two years at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. From there Jane has co-starred opposite Michael Madsen in the drama “Refuge From The Storm”. Has been directed by the legendary filmmaker Bill Duke in an action/horror short film entitled “Xelerate”. The project, produced by Sony Pictures, has been used in training a wide range of industry professionals at the Sony 3D Tech Center. Jane landed roles on american popular TV series such as Criminal Minds, General Hospital, amongst others. Jane recently was nominated for the Audie Awards (Equivalent to the Oscar’s awards for audiobooks). She also won the biggest award in her beloved Dominican Republic “Premios Soberano” as an actress for her role of Aurora in “Mis 500 Locos” movie. Jane has also consolidated herself as one of the top Spanish audiobook narrators in Los Angeles, she has given her voice to the most well-known novels and stories of prolific Latin American writers: “El Amante Japonés” and “La Isla bajo el Mar” both by Isabel Allende, “La Fiesta del chivo” by Mario Vargas Llosa, Mi Historia” (Becoming) of Michelle Obama, Come reza Ama (Eat Pray Love), “Libera tu magia” and “Comprometida” by Elizabeth Gilbert, Stephen King’s classic hit “Carrie” and “Misery”, “No hay vuelta atrás” (The Moment of Lyft) by Melinda Gates and “Las verdades que sostenemos” by the former US vice-president Kamala Harris and the famous book turned into a hit TV series “Gambito de Dama” (The Queen’s Gambit) by Walter Tevis.
