The Six Key Elements of recording and editing is a clear guide of what one should be focused on when recording and editing voiceover. First and foremost proper modulation/volume of the voice. Then there are the Six Key Elements: 1) Noise Floor (how to assess and deal with it); 2) Removing breaths (w/silence); 3) Plosives (how to remove and soften); 4) Extraneous pops and clicks (how to remove); 5) Smoothing the entrances and exits to words that are attacked; Timing. Once these Key Elements and how to deal with them are revealed, the participants have a pathway to creating broadcast ready recordings no matter what recording program (DAW) they are using.
