Led by a speech pathologist/voice specialist and researcher, this session will provide an overview of vocal health and voice care specifically for voice actors. Designed to empower actors with evidence-based knowledge of their instrument, the session will include an introduction to vocal anatomy and physiology; warning signs of vocal injury; how/when to seek help for voice problems and what to look for when searching for medical providers; strategies for injury prevention, and vocal hygiene tips.
