The goal of this breakout session is to give attendees a deeper understanding and appreciation of the power and benefits of speaking with their authentic voices rather than with what they think an appropriate voice should sound like when recording ANY VO copy - be it commercial, promo, e-learning, corporate or in-show narration, trailer, etc.

The session will include a brief overview of Dave Walsh’s TrueTell Method. It will cover why he created this program, particularly how his own VO success and subsequent vocal disorder dramatically raised his awareness about the lack and need for greater truth in voiceover performances.

Attendees will be chosen at random from the audience to participate in several powerful exercises designed to dramatically highlight when voices are (and aren’t) speaking from their truth and how those voices sound to the human ear.
