Sally Clawson has over 20 years of experience as a voice, stage and on-camera actor, as well as a teacher, performer and coach. A former professional dancer, she toured internationally with the Margaret Jenkins Dance Company. After a hip injury, she began studying voiceover. Today, she is the owner of Voice One in San Francisco.
Sally’s many voiceover clients include Yoplait, Clorox, Toyota, Old Navy, McDonald's, Pixar, Apple, Google, Microsoft, EA Games, Telltale Games, and Lucas Arts. Her love for teaching goes beyond the many classes taught by her at Voice One, including development of the voiceover curriculum from the ground up at the Berkeley Repertory School of Theater.
Sally also studies, teaches and performs improv as much as her schedule will allow. Her mentors include Jim Cranna, from The Committee, and John Pirruccello, currently co-starring on the HBO series Barry.
Additionally, Sally is a certified executive coach through the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and is the emcee at Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference. She has a master’s degree in Performance from Mills College.
