Monique Bagwell is a Professor of Media and Communications at Lander University where she has been teaching speech and performance studies for over 30 years. When she isn’t behind the podium, she is actively involved in the performing arts as an actress, stage director, and Voiceover artist. She has won numerous awards and recognition for her work as an actress, director, and educator. Her degrees include B.F.A. in Performance, Brooklyn College; M.F.A. in Performance, The Ohio State University. Her specializations are in Performance training, Directing, Speech, Voiceover Acting, General American English, and B.O.S./ALBA Emoting, where she is a Certified AE Level 3 instructor. Her Voiceover work includes Audiobook Narration, Telephony, Corporate Narration, eLearning, Podcasting, and Audiobook Proofing.
